Bully Boy
A Story
by Michael Christopher
Romans 12:18-20 and 1 Peter 3:9 (As the title implies, there is a bullying situation that is told throughout the story. There is more information in the back of the book on bullying and some ideas of what to do about it if you are being bullied.)
Bully Boy is the fourth in the Dellie O’Shea series, featuring some of the same fascinating characters you’ve met before. This time Dellie makes a new friend out of someone who taunts him without mercy when they first meet, until something unexpected turns the tables around. Things aren’t always the way they first appear. Sometimes we focus on things that really don’t matter and miss the things that do. Sometimes the people we least expect to be heroes turn out to be life savers. And sometimes tragedy can turn into triumph when we lease expect it.
This series was originally written for the 9-12 year old (middle school aged). However, adults love the stories… the characters and the biblical truths brought out in short easy fictional books. This format works especially well with the incarcerated population.
